Accessibility statement

Starvite is operated by ADS Delivery OOD. We want every guest and every organizer to be able to use it, whatever device, setting or assistive technology they use.

The standard we work to

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act and the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations (Israeli Standard 5568), as far as is reasonably possible.

The accessibility menu

Every screen carries an accessibility button beside the Starvite name. It opens a menu where you can make text larger, raise the contrast, underline links, switch to a plainer font and pause motion. Pause motion stops the moving films on screen and the opening animation. Your choices stay on your device and apply on every page until you reset them.

What else is built in

Buttons and fields can be reached with a keyboard, and the one in focus is clearly outlined. On the screen where organizers place their video, dragging has keyboard alternatives: a zoom slider and a center button. The films are decoration for screen readers; the invitation itself, your answer and the event details you need are written on the page as text. When your phone asks for reduced motion, Starvite follows it: the films hold still and the opening animation is skipped. Starvite is in English.

Known limits

The films themselves are pictures: a screen reader announces the page text, not the animation. A video an organizer uploads has no sound and no captions, because Starvite never keeps sound.
